The island does not have any reef area so no coral were recorded here. Among the marine invertebrates, 6 species of crabs, 6 species of prawn, 1 species of barnacles, 1 species of lobster, 5 species of gastropods and 7 species of bivalve.

Roji Island

No. of Plants/macroalgae recorded/estimated (List):

Mangrove species (Avicennia sp., Rhizophora sp. and Ceriop sp.), Prosopis juliflora, grasses. A total 13 species recorded, belonging to 11 families and 13 genera. Mainly scrub type vegetation like, Grewia tenax, Zizyphus nummularia, Euphorbia nivulia, Commiphora wightii and Indigofera oblongifolia most common here.
