The island does not have any reef area so no coral were recorded here. Among the marine invertebrates, 6 species of crabs, 6 species of prawn, 1 species of barnacles, 1 species of lobster, 5 species of gastropods and 7 species of bivalve. A total of 24 bird species recorded, out of which 5 were resident and 12 were resident-migratory.

Mangrove species (Avicennia sp., Rhizophora sp. and Ceriop sp.). A total 5 species recorded; among them 3 species were scrubs and 2 species of herbs belonging to 4 families and 4 genera.
